Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Warlock: The Armageddon

    Spoilers Ahead*
I love these movies and loved this sequel, however, I cannot get past the fact that at the end of the first movie the Warlock knew the name of God and it is said all you have to do is say it backwards to undo creation.
    So..
When he comes back, why does he not do this?
Also as I thought of this,
Who wrote the Grand Grimoire anyway? Surely, a man of faith did not?
In that case whoever did write it also knew the name of God, why did they not say it backwards?
I apologize in advance as I tend to analize things, tell me what you think?

Because they are not the same character, just look the same

Notice also that as far as i remember in the 1st film Julian Sands' character is granted to be the only one son of satan IF he could inverse the creation of word etc. So we can assume that some day they really managed to destroy one universe by saying the true name of god backwards and bah: Warlock is a son of satan. So they take off to destroy another universe.
