Actually no, she didn't. Amy did not call Emma Emily. And if Rachel really loved the name, why shouldn't he use a name with the same first syllable as his ex wife? It's not like he was still hung up on Emily.

Amy called her 'Emmett', 'Ella' and 'Emily'. And in fact, Rachel at one stage during that episode also called Emma 'Emily'.

im sure at the end after the finale, it implies they will be together and prob get married in which she will switch it. but she had it that way before because she wasn't married to Ross.
