I literally never said that I watch the show because people today would react differently to many of the jokes. But you desperately wanted to read it this way. Good for you

The world we live in today sucks. Everybody is offended about something. People, especially entertainment such as TV shows, shouldn't have to worry about offending someone with low self-esteem by making a joke.
This is why it's a joke.

Some people do seem to get offended by everything, and see offensive material where there is none (or even SJW agendas where there is none, in my opinion), but I wouldn't say the world today sucks. There's still far too much awesomeness in the world to say it completely sucks, in my opinion.
