Actually I just saw a story on ESPN's Sportscenter on Tuff Hedeman (Stephen Baldwin's character) and his battle with a dangerous bull named Bodacious. He got seriously injured on one of the rides. Maybe they could tell his story in the sequel.

Agreed, penscott70. I laughed a bit at the quote, and then felt a bit guilty. That is so signature-esque, penguined.dare me to steal it for a bull-riding forum?

I heard about that incident with Tuff and Bodacious too. But if anything, that movie would have to be so padded out, seeing as it all happened in one ride (i.e 8 seconds; however I assume that is how the producers aim to keep the "8 seconds" as a title). Or it would be really boring at the start and after the incident with Bodacious- I could only take so much of watching a guy having his face put back together; even if he is a cowboy.
But the potential for gory-ness is great. Richard's cheekbones shattered in 11 fragments after his face collided with the back of Boadcious's head, I believe.and I've read some stuff on the 'net where Tuff has watched the incident during his ride with Bodacious on a video tape and he's describing it all; saying stuff like; "Then I saw my head got thrown back [from the force of the collison with Bodacious's head] and I also saw that I had no nose."
