I am an American living in Canada
Same here, but only for work. Not only that, but I grew up in Niagara Falls, NY and I lived in Toronto for 5 years. If anyone was offended by this movie, well they need to go and find themselves a life. -

Canada's an easy target, granted. But as a Canadian, I've never been offended by how we've been portrayed in movies. I like maple syrup on my pancakes, I love hockey, and I'm polite to others (most of the time). And when I see Americans make fun of Canadians, I decide to go to the doctor's because my tummy hurts, free of charge.

Anyway, I don't have any thing against Canadians BTW. I'm just wondering because all the characters are all off beat and zany against Canada that I was wondering if some people thought if it went too far at times because it's a comedy were the main subject of being lampooned is Canada(Or maybe America). This movie almost reminds of how the characters are like in the Simpsons with all the dysfunctional antics and zany people and stuff.

There's nothing to be offended about it's just simple fun with Canadian stereotypes. Most of us have a sense of humor I'm a francophone and the scene with the french text on the truck was hilarious.
Besides, this movie makes a lot more fun of the gun loving and warmongering Americans.Thou shalt keep thy religion to thyself. - George Carlin

I think that's the genius of the movie. People of either country seem to think the other country got hit harder. That beep is hard to do.
I know the answer blowin in the wind. I also know what it sounds like when doves cry. I rule!
