Gotta ask If Moore's movies have lies, why hasn't he ever been sued for a single lie? The boy is worth many millions, why hasn't anyone he lied about ever, once, sued?
More accurately, nutcase, you just don't like what Moore says.
The truth often hurts. In your case, it must sting, too

There's a difference between a lie and being libel, rewatch a couple of Michael Moores movies you'll see Moore is very aware of this fact and knows just where to cut his films.
Not to mention, suing someone is a long and usually unrewarding process

I don't hate Michael Moore. The impression of him I've gotten from some of his documentaries isn't great, but I never met the guy. He could be a very nice man. While I like that he is willing to put himself out there for what he believes and rattle a few cages, I don't always like what he does or says. I wanted Fahrenheit 9/11 to be good, but I couldn't even finish it. I did like when he asked the politicians if they would sign their kids up for the military, but his relentless attacks of Bush seemed to detract from his integrity there. I thought Bowling For Columbine was alright, but I didn't like his example of Canada not locking its doors and what he did to Charlton Heston. It wasn't so much as the interview as it was just leaving the picture there. I'll admit that he is truly a brave man, but I don't agree with everything he has to say. I haven't watched Sicko yet. I heard wonderful things about Roger And Me, but this is my favorite of his. I think it's great. He should do more features.

No wayI had to come to the Canadian Bacon boards to find someone who can actually articulate his dislike for Michael Moore in a way that doesn't make him look like a complete moron? It's just a shame I'm 10 months late for the party.
Personally, I like Michael Moore. I feel if you don't like him, or like what he says, that's totally your call. What I can't stand is when people come along, and all they can do is write, typically in all caps, "MICHAEL MOORE IS A FAT PIG WHO HATES AMERICA!". Of course, that's simply because they don't agree with what he says, and like good Americans would gladly deprive him of his right to say if they could. Anywaysjust wanted to say, kudos to you Snowmonfon. -

The deficiencies in Michael Moore's documentaries have been shown over and over again in American media. He edits interviews to twist their meaning and appearance, conveniently leaves out overwhelming opposing evidence that contradict his thesis and wildly throws out fallacious arguments to eliminate reasonable reponses from his on camera targets. This has been demonstrated over and over again and the evidence has reached the point of incontestable. The guy is at best a limousine liberal who lives of his schtick all the while being guilty of the same behavior that he condemns in others. The guy is a hypocrite, at best, or, at worst, a leech off the miseries of others. Blasting others for hating him is not a sign of intellect on the part of the blaster. BTW, some of the people who hate him the most are people he was , supposedly, attempting to help in his documentaries. Ask people around Flint what many think of his treatment of them in "Roger and Me"
