well 1st of all i checked this movie aint on the bottom 100 unless something happened since 2006 and the ranking went up. well i agree it aint the worse movie not by far. i must admit though i do have a soft spot for horror movies even crappy ones. but when they are crappy i at least know that they are crappy. i just like them for how crappy they are. you know so bad they are good. well heres 1 movie that i will say that most people would probably think is worse than this movie even though personally i like it. but check out terror toons or anything made by joe castro. actually only seen 1 other movie made by him and i like that movie too. but for people that say this movie is so bad are most likely just trolls or people that dont know how to lower their standards a lil bit and enjoy life more.

You could watch movies such as Black ribbon, Night of the tentacles, Warning: Pedifile released and similar films, if you can find them that is. they are FAR FAR worse than anything listed there.

I never knew it was in the bottom 100. No, it's not a classic, but it's pretty damn entertaining. Probably the best COTC sequel. I don't really remember the rest, but I remember this one.

I remember this used to be in the bottom 100, but while it is far from a "good" film, as a cheap horror flick it more than does the trick. Totally didn't belong in the league of films like House of the Dead or Manos (COTC 3 actually had some genuinely creepy parts too). Thankfully it has risen out of the list.

Agreedwhile it is a very very very bad movie indeed, it is not worthy of the Bottom 100. This is 1990s standard cliche horror all the way and to expect anything more would be pure ignorance on the part of any viewer.
I personally feel offended that such a piece of crap is available on the market, but like any good addict I will watch every single one of these horror films in the series simply b/c I thought the first one was mediocre.
I hate these people for ruining my life!

It's no longer in the Bottom 100, but I am personally offended by the 3.8 rating it has because to me, it is the best of the series and one of the best horror movies of the 1990s. Sure, I agree it would've been better without the giant monster just like everyone else, but other than that it is perfect to me. I love everything about this movie. It is fun, has an interesting story, the characters are fascinating, and the acting is good. It is just a good movie all around and doesn't deserve any rating below a 6.0 at the very least. I personally give it a 9/10.

I liked it too, more so than expected. The death scenes were all very entertaining, with nice practical effects, and Eli was an improvement over the leader in the 2nd one, who was a bit too old for the whole "creepy kid" thing, in my opinion. There are many things to criticize, but I still had fun. I even liked the ridiculous monster at the end, to be honest

I'm still shocked this movie still only has a 4.0/10 though the score is slowly going up. I'd say it deserves at the very, very least a 6. It is the best film of the series and is very underrated. At least it's no longer in the Bottom 100 like apparently it was 10 years ago.
