It grossed me out when that guy got killed by corn stalks.

When the corn stalks rip the guy's body off and he is left standing as a head atop a bloody spine, I almost got sick to my stomach. Man, that was nasty.

I will admit it is a gruesome death. Over all of the 7 COTC films the gore gets thicker as it goes on. Fritz Kiersch the director of the first COTC film wanted to do sort of a Hitchcock thing where violence was implied but never really shown.
He wanted to make it to where you think you saw something you didn't; like with the hand in the meat grinder, you never actually see the man's hand get cut off but you see the blood on Job's face and the expression of sheer pain on the man's. Also, with the posion in the coffee you see the girl pour the packet into the coffee pot then pour the couples coffee then they die. It's that subtleness that makes your imagination work.
Instead of keeping with that theme the other films leave no imagination what so ever as to how gruesome and gory these people die. I perfer the Kiersch way better it makes you think and use your brain instead of having everything played out for you but that's just me. Because what your mind thinks up is better than what someone else can think up for you, because you know what things scare and gross you out. Well anyway there ya go with my 2 cents.

Those are good but another one is the one near the end of COTC 3 where the guy is trying to run away from Eli's evil alien self and he tries climbing in a window. Instead the window comes down on him and slices him in half! Also the mother slipping on the pipe and falling on the edge of the water nozzle and it goes through her head and you can see water spurting out of her mouth! And just something that looks totally painful if it were real was the scene in COTC 5 where Greg gets the drill bit screwed into his knee.
YOUCH
!!!
Well I hope you kiddies enjoyed all of the gory details

This movie has some of the most outrageous, hair raising and disgusting death scenes I've ever seen in a horror movie. I love it! Eli is the second best leader of the series, after Isaac. Plus, my second favorite movie of the series, after the original.
Rocky VI must happen! Sean Penn said so! -

True, Malcolm was a good confident character and his death wasn't necessary, but what's done is done.
I can't really agree with what Whtchamacallsit (sorry I'm bad with web forum names) said about implying the violenc eof a death scene because it's been too long that America's horror cinema has been filled with horror movies that never show the gore; I know that's slightly changed with Aja's adaptation of the classic The Hills Have Eyes and Gans' shockingly insipid movie adaptation of the Silent Hill games, but I can't shun a film from the start of the PC generation that threw in gore with no shame.
Now that I think of it, the final scene in the Silent Hill movie reminded me a little too much of the final scene in Children of the Corn 3. -

That would be this one

This film is the one where the alien looking thing comes out and starts to kill the kids at the end. And it eats one of them. This is the one you're looking for.

Ditto. I watched this movie years ago during the 1990's on the HBO channels because I loved the 1st 2 COTC movies & this one is alright but as you mentioned, the corn stalk death was really gross & I have have a strong stomach considering I watch a lot of horror movies but this one also made me sick to my stomach. -

Yeah, that was definitely disturbing, but I snap out of my terror state when I realize that he is still screaming with his lungs gone.

the most gross out death seen in any of the, "Children of the Corn" movies would have to be in the 2nd one, where David dies over a nose bleed, thanks to Micha carving out a voodo wooden doll.
