aught the last 20 mins of this on U.K. Sci/fi channel & "Pretty underwhelming" doesnt even come close.Worst "special" effects i have ever seen.Made the scorpion thing at the end of The Mummy returns look real.
Really made me & my wife laugh out loud though!

No.It was just Eli`s True Form ALTHOUGH Eli was An Extension of HIS Will.

i thought it was he who walks behind the rows although i guess it would make sense for it to be elis true form since he dissapeared before that thing showed up. but well thing is though in a way i thought that eli was he who walks behind the rows. same with any of the other child preachers in the movies. i know that they are preachin the word of he who walks behind the rows but when eli is with the priest in the chapel he asks eli who is he and eli responds by saying you know who i am. well i kind of figured that if satan is he who walks behind the rows and the child preachers are he who walks behind the rows or at least posessed by him then if that was elis true form then that was he who walks behind the rows. and if the child preachers are he who walks behind the rows then yea i know that the child preachers are always preaching about he who walks behind the rows instead of themselves. i just figured that by some chance its a trick or something. get people to worship the devil through the third person. get them to worship the devil while hes right in front of you or something.
and as for the special effects yea they werent the best. but then again im a person that at least doesnt mind bad special effects. i just find it laughable. but it does kinda suck cause the special effects for the rest of the movie were fairly good and then they pull out that beep but well hey i think that the effects for other parts of the movie were more easily accomplished. but some might say that if the filmmakers realized that they werent goin to be able to do the special effects well then they should have just left them out completely. also the thing at the end reminded me of the thing in the movie the thing.

" He-Who-Walks-Behind-The-Rows " is not Satan ! A Deleted Scene for The Fourth Film reveals hes The Spirit of Josiah , The Original Boy Preacher ! Only Micah , Ezekiel , Gabriel and Abel were possessed by The Corn Deity ! Eli was basically a supernatural science experiment by The Deity : a child who would never age possessing The Deitys supernatural powers . In a sense , you might say Eli was The Corn Cults Jesus . Ofcourse , Christians think of him as Satan ! They see any religion that doesnt conform exactly to their views no matter how well-intentioned as satanic ! The Films deliberately leave it up to The Viewers who`s more hypocritical : Christian extremists or The Followers of " He- Who-Walks-Behind-The-Rows " !

When i first saw this, when it was on FX 5-6 years ago, i was thinking to myself, woah, don't know what the beep is going on, but damn it looks cool, all this beep up, yet violent (For FX standards) sh*t going on, now i just re-watched it, one thing came to mind. "What. The. beep This is Is that a fricking doll? Oh my god!", but alas, when i wanna watch something bad and make fun of it, i watch this, mostly for the ending Though Screaming Mad Georges effects are always welcome with me.
