This was a movie I wanted to get, but never got around to buying when the original Widescreen/Pan and Scan Dvd existed. Now all that is availiable on e-bay and stores is the fullframe only disc. Does anyone own and is willing to sell, or know where to acquire the widescreen flipper disc? I want this one as well as Moscow on the Hudson but every time I order it online the fullframe version shows up.

I dont think it was ever in wide screen. I got the DVD case that SAY'S widescreen, but inside is just the full screen version.
      (sigh)

My library has it in their collection, and it's the two-sided widescreen/fullscreen version. So yes, it does exist.

I know this is 4 years old, but did you see the actual disc?
The DVD I have is labeled as a two sided disc on the cover, but the actual DVD is one sided with just Fullscreen.

I know this is really, really old but I own the double sided disc with standard on one side and widescreen on the other. A friend of mine has what appears to be the same DVD from the outside but the disc is single sided and in only fullscreen.

I may be wrong (I'm watching it right now.) I have 2 copies b/c I love this movie. I couldn't find my other copy so I opened the other one (brand new). I believe this one had the option of widescreen or full screen. Its almost over, if it's widescreen I'll let you know.
