Louie "Oh I love grape jelly"
Brilliant!
And when Phillip responds to Gracie," Thank you, thank you for REMINDING me" Steve Martin delivers that line so brilliantly!
Mrs Munchnick, "but I am not young! I have never been young, although I do look considerably" (Gracie interrupts)
I completely agree with James-153, Madeline Kahn is brilliant in this movie! -

The funiest lines came from Madeline Kahn. When she was first in the elevator screaming "Hey! Hey!", and when she starts singing "Hey! Hey! I'm stuck in the elevator!" And after they notice she's there and they go get the screwdriver, but something else comes up and they forget about her again, she screams from the elevator "HEEEEYYYY DICKHEAD!!!" Madeline made the movie.

Actually I believe what Blanche Munchnik says/sings/raps in the elevator is:
Come to get me
Stuck in this place
Rescue me soon or
Hit me in my face
Mrs Munchnik in the elevatorwell what can I say? She is just priceless and the funniest character, except maybe Chris!
Me, my mom, and my sister watch this every year, and for us, it just gets funnier and funnier. We do a lot of quoting, all year long actually, especially the HEY! from the elevator. We literally laugh until we are sick! But I love movies that don't take themselves too seriously, which this one does not.
Liev Schriber is just brilliant as the transvestite.
Adam Sandler singing "To, Catherine".it's part of our Christmas carol ensemble now. And who doesn't love grape jelly? lol
I also love Catherine, who freaks out and goes and sits in the bathtub, and says to herself, "Cahterine-something-O'Shaunessy, you've gotta get a grip on yourself. So? So your going to be alone at Christmas for the __ year in a row? So? So, it could be worse! You have a wonderful jobandyou have a wonderful job! So there!"
MrTannenbaum: Have any of your callers ever eaten glass?
Phillip: What? No!
Mr T: They must!
Phillips: They must what?
Mr T: They must what? They must eat glass!
Gracie: Felix I don't wanna hurt your feelings, but you're a loser and I can't have a loser for my babies father..gets a fingerful of peanut butter out of the jar Oh I wanna business man..
Mrs Munchnik: Well, if you think your husband is having an affair, I can assure you, he IS!
pauses to eat to eat a little something then nods knowingly and adds:
Mmm-hmm. That's right! And I'M about to be out of a JOB!
I should just quote the whole movie! lol I love it, it's my favorite. -

The funniest line was when Steve Maritn's character forgot about Madeline Kahn's character in the elevator, and you hear her voice echoeing 'HEEEYY D*CKHEEAAAD!" That was the best part of the whole movie, Madeline was the best.
I used to have fun..
