So, who's "Why I Joined the Army" story was the saddest, in your opinion? I personally felt that it was a tie between Miranda and Benitez. This scene was acted so wellgreat film!

I was touched the most by Miranda and Benitez' story mainly because they wanted to better their lives. I have a lot of friends from high school and my childhood neighborhood who joined the military for similary reasons.

It doesn't even matter whose story was "the saddest". I think the most important thing is that they all found something better in the Army.
BUT! The story that touched me the most: Hobbs' and Benitez'(s). I mean, Hobbs' conned his way into the Army to better his life and probably never would have been caught if Bill hadn't recognized his potential.
And Benitez.. I mean, it's sad that it takes someone dying or being killed (esp. your younger sister) to change your life.
excellent film.
