When Charlie and Santa left for the North Pole with Bernard, it was thanksgiving night (when Santa was due back). We know the Santa doesn't deliver gifts until Christmas Eve. Was Charlie missing a whole month with his dad at the North Pole before they go back to his moms house??

I'm talking about the second time they went to the North Pole. The first time they went, Bernard said he was due back on Thanksgiving. Did he go back on Thanksgiving or Christmas Eve with Charlie? It's not clear

I'm sure that's when it was because at that point, they were still working on the suit and the sleigh, which they wouldn't have had time to do if it were Christmas Eve

That was earlier in the movie and it wasn't a psychiatrist's office. It was the principal's office at Charlie's school.

Yes, it was a whole month or so. They left on Thanksgiving and returned on Christmas eve.
