Brooks Was Here or Tommy's murder?
I expect Brooks to dominate and as sad as that scene was, I think Tommy's murder is even more heart-breaking. Poor lad had a wife and baby back home and all the time in the world to redeem himself.
So, yeah, I think Tommy's murder makes me a little more sadder than Brooks' suicide. -

Red's parole hearing.
It's a human moment that reminds us that we all must live with decisions made when we don't know any better. We make decisions in our youth - ignorant, emotional decisions - that set the course of our life.
It's almost cruel that the people we become (arguably entirely different people to who we were in our youth) are punished for the sins of that stupid kid.
It's a scene lost on most people, it would seem, and increasingly we're letting the naive attitudes of young people dictate policy in the west.
Check my block list because you're probably on it.
