I guess the filmmakers never heard of the Grandfather Paradox with regard to time travel.
I guess they also know nothing about physics, being that the same matter CAN'T occupy the same space at the same time. It's a physical impossibility. The senator could have shaken hands with himself, hugged himself, and God knows what else, all day long and nothing would have happened. Of course, then again, the Grandfather Paradox, so my previous statement is redundant, anyway.
Yes, I know films require a suspension of disbelief, but when they are this ridiculous, it's a little difficult.
The plural of mouse is mice. The plural of goose is geese. Why is the plural of moose not meese? -

I suppose, but for some reason this movie just stood out to me. Perhaps it was the stylin' shin guards that the tall bad guy is wearing. I thought for sure they would be in fashion by now. LMAO.

The predestination paradox overrides any other time travel paradox.
It means anything that happened happened and can never be changed. The act of trying to change it is what caused it to happen in the first place.
For example Say someone important was killed. You go back in time to stop the killing but your actions lead to the event happening. Perhaps your presence prevented law enforcement from stopping the murderit really doesn't matter. You can't change the past PERIOD. Its already happened so if someone tried to change it that event had already happened as well. -

The only true paradox that is going on, is all the time travel discussions that is going on, at every board for a movie or tv-show, who deals with time travel for pure intertainment purposes and how a lot of people try to sound smart on a subject that is entirely speculation and theoretical.
