Great actors, master director, good scriptcould you imagine someone trying to make a werewolf movie set around a literary house today? Be cast with CW actors with horrible CGI, no depth at all. We're lucky we have it.

Yes I love it, always have. Atmospheric, funny, Morricone soundtrack, Nicholson, Pfeiffer, Spader, Plummer, werewolves, I find it endlessly entertaining.

I think this film could be released today and still be successful!

Can't agree more. Most of the movies in my favorite movies list are from 70s-90s. Those movies, including this one, have that special ingredient which makes me want to watch them again and again from time to time without getting bored.

@nemenemenes I 100% agree with you. Something about these older movies make them classics. A certain feeling, nuance, jena se qua. I love them and can rewatch them over and over through the years. They make you feel real emotion. Movies nowadays don't have thatyes, some do but very few. Movies seem very rushed and way too much cgi and ends up looking cheap. Perfect example, Jungle Book 1942 vs Jungle Book 2016. Even the actors aren't the same. They seem like they're just reading words instead of acting. Actors back then really learned their craft and you could see it. Nowadays, the only thing you need is good looks. Same things goes for music. They find the most
beautiful/handsome person that they can find and boom, they're a "sta". With the money they're being paid and the money we pay too watch/hear them, somethings gotta give.
