Eurovision Song Contest 2026
Several countries are boycotting the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) because of Israel's participation.
It was now decided who will represent Israel in this year's music competition.

Previous Israeli contestants were subjected to harsh hostility and booing. In 2025, however, Israeli singer Yuval Raphael secured 2nd place thanks to an overwhelming public vote. The organizers subsequently changed the voting rules. The public now has less weight, and the jury's role has been strengthened.
The Israeli Singer's Song is to be chosen in March
The song Noam Bettan will perform at the ESC is to be selected in March.
The pop singer, who hails from a suburb of Tel Aviv, already released an album.
His parents are from France. The 27-year-old sings many of his songs in French.
All Eurovision shows are already sold out.
A total of 35 countries will participate in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest (ESC).
