I still don't know what it meant at the end of the series where he said he was Gemini. Was he actually a bad guy? They were telling him who he was. I think they were telling him he was Thomas Veil when he was really someone else and that he was from Illinois. I know he was sort of under hypnosis or a drug when he saw himself on tape repeating what he was told.

"Gemini" was an FBI agent investigating the disappearance of the Senatorsthe bad guys got ahold of him and made him believe he was "Thomas Veil" who basically didn't exist, and created his whole life "backstory" with Allison etc. in an attempt to get his negatives. He was hypnotised/drugged on the video to receive the bad guys' brainwashing. Stillwho ARE the bad guys and how did they replace the exected Senators with look-alikes? Alas we'll never know-

We also now know that the negatives that Tom had were a fake. It was never about the negatives. Hell they gave Tom the negatives when they made him.
I believe the Organization[Them] were clueless. They only knew what they needed to know. Human pawns in a huge invasion gambit. They were just playing their part.
Cloning, mind transference, Dopplegangers,Pod persons [Replacement Senators] and the sorts were all part of plot to take over Earth.
Not sure if Tom/Gemini was an experiment on the human mind, programming and such.
Or agent of paranoia, to spread fear amongst the pawns in the propped up Organization[Human pawns] and the general public. Or maybe he was one of the aliens and was sympathetic to humans[Hey I like that one].
We'll never know I guess.
But at least I have my own personal ending.
