It seems the last two seasons are much poorer than the rest of the series, even with some notable actors appearing in some episodes. The writing, the special effects, the backdrops, the overall plotsit seems Syfy really couldn't replicate the awesomeness of the Showtime seasons. I can only imagine how awesome this show would be if Showtime aired it NOW.

Actually season 6 was the last Showtime season, It didn't move to sc-fi until season 7, I think there's some good episodes in both seasons.

I felt so too. The stories, episodes were really stupid. Season 1-4 were the best, season 5 was ok. But 6 & 7 just bad.

I'm watching Season 6 right now on Comet. Decompression was an awesome episode!

The Grid didn't get very good reviews but I really liked that one too.

Speak for yourself but the series is still one of the best sci-fi series and is a great show the entire way through.
