So I loooooove the episode "Tempests"; literally one of my top favs of The Outer Limits but I do not get why it's called tempests? The definition of tempest is a violent wind storm.so..um..what? I get the extra s is for the pun pests but I don't really get it overall?

For everyone else;
This is the one where a spaceship that was carrying a cure for a virus crashes on a small moon and one of the humans (Will from
'Will and Grace'
) is bitten by a space spider.
He hallucinates two realities; one where they're still stuck on the moon, trying to get off and one where they escaped and made it to their colony. He can't tell which one is the real one.
It turns out
he never made it back inside the spaceship at the beginning and so both realities were fake.
You're welcome.

I forgot to come back and check this, but I know what happened in the episod, I get the ending and the twist and love it! I'm just completely baffled by the title, Tempests. Like is the pun pests? Or is tempest supposed to be a play on words as in they're TEMPTED to believe a false reality?
