"A Stitch In Time" is my favorite Outer Limits episode. Michelle Forbes (Ensign Ro) was very good as agent Jaime Pratt but the real star was Amanda Plummer who played Dr. Theresa Givens. In fact, Amanda won an Emmy Award for this performance. I just finished watching this episode about 20 minutes ago. One of my favorite time travel stories ever, ranking right up there with "The Time Machine" films and various Star Trek episodes. If you haven't watched this episode lately, watch it again. It's great every time!!

I just saw this episode, I really enjoyed it! I'm a bit unclear about the ending though, could you clarify it for me?

Well, this question is pretty old but
In the end, the professor changed her own past and so, does not use the time machine to go back and kill killers before they kill. But the cop has lost her girl friend so she now has to get the time machine and go back.

Definitely A Stitch In Time was the best episode.
It was one of the few with no monster except that in humanity. The choices and that ending - it was SO good!
            And yet so simple.
But then it seems that most of the truly marvelous stories are simple.

This was one episode of a small series of episodes, wasn't it?

My fav was "Relativity Theory" because it one of those stories in which could so easily( and frightengly) come true considering the recent global warming scare (not to mention some scenes bear resemblence to america before and after the iraq war)and the fact that were quickly running out of resources ourselves.

That is correct. Wil's episode was "The Light Brigade". I watched that episode earlier tonight and it is one of my favorite Outer Limits episodes.

No.The aliens were the Vorak and they weren't enslaving humans. They were advanced beings who we are supposed to belied are basically amateur self-designated Universal Anthropologists who have taken it upon themselves to devote their lives to rediscovering abandoned planets and repopulating them with the native species-in this case man. It's a little ham-fisted approach.Superior beings should be able to find Libraries,Museums, etc. and go through written works interpreting what happened and where to bring mankind down. They could measure radiation, growth rings, rainfall and build a safe area for humans .Why would the baby be left unattended in a crazy form plastic crib with a blanket, pampers, and hot lights in a lighthouse? Can you say geodesic dome? Why are they chipping frozen heads out of the ice and putting them in a suitcase? No slides available? Still, these may be the retarded aliens from planet Rethuglitroyd. They mean well and have sworn not to honor their Orange Pledge to vote for Darn Old Dump.

If we give enough time this thread will grow until all episodes are listed here 🙂
                                Anyway, my favorite(s) is
"Double Helix" and its sequel "The Origin of Species"
because it show many combined aspects of sci-fi

I liked the double helix one but havent seen origin of the species - hands down though - the one with kevin nealon doing the time travel research - awesome.
