VANISHING ACT

I loved the conversion episode too.
It's hard to have favorite episodes with 153 to think about but let's see:- The conversion
- The Voice of Reason
- A Stitch in Time
- Resurrection
- Unnatural Selection
- The Refuge
- Vanishing Act
- Stream of Consciousness
- Feasibility Study
- The Hunt
- Descent
- Family Values
Special mention to Caught in the Act, it's a poor episode but Alyssa Milano's breast makes it worth watching.
But what I like most about The Outer Limits is its variety, some episodes will make you think, others will be pure horror, science-fiction or fantasy, sometimes it will be a thriller. You never really know what you'll get.

I can't tell you ep. number but my favs are:
the camp
promise land
Lilithia(first outer limits I ever saw BTW)
abduction
couple of notable mentions.
family values
patient zero
and that's all I can think of off the top of my head. -

Having re-watched all 7 series (thanks Amazon.ca) I'd throw these 12 out there as standing up best to repeat viewing.
- Deprogrammers
One of the better twists and an ep of real quality. Technically as good as OL ever got (lighting, prosthetics, camera work, even the music). - Summit
Punchy opening and doesn't let-up. Great cast and verbal sparring. - Tempests
Best horror story in the set, some real mind bending. - Decompression
Best time travel episode and character study, draws the viewer in nicely whilst leaving the cast in the dark. - Quality of Mercy/Light Brigade
Doesn't get darker than this. - Sentence
Salutory dystopian tale. - Vanishing Act
Not a fan of OL time travel episodes, or the cheesy Nicholas Prentice, generally they all looks a bit too much like 90s Vancouver. This one's well realised tho, although the wrap-up is possibly a little unsatisfying. - The Camp
Sigourney look-alike does ok but the Commandant steals it. Unusually well done sets and story ticks along at a surprising clip. - A New Life
A superior take on Relativity Theory. Nice mystery. - New Breed
Best bio-shock ep, some imaginative make up work! - To Tell the Truth
Bland lead but fine supporting cast and a surprisingly well fleshed out world. Props for the sub-titled alien dialect - only occurence in the series strangely.

"Decompression"
Brilliant!
Copy the script, get a a movie star in the waning, stretch it a bit (along with the budget), send it for a January, February or April wide release.
This is a surefire 20 + million dollar opening weekend for a 10 + million dollar budget film.
All it needs, an interesting trailer. -

Quality of Mercy/Light Brigade. Hands down. I was dismayed that an entire thread is dedicated to trashing these episodes, mostly due to the
noir ending, but both of these just blew me completely away. I hung on every word of dialogue. Robert Patrick was totally awesome as Skokes in both. These are better than 75% of the crap Hollywood passes off as science fiction cinema.
Honorable mention: A Stitch in Time, Valerie 23, Bits of Love, Trial by Fire, Alyssa Milano's tits. -

My top episodes;
- Trial By Fire (2x09)
- The Conversation (1x12)
- Dead man's Switch (3x13)
- The Light Brigade (2x18)
- The Revelations of 'Becka Paulson (3.15)
- Inconstant Moon (2x12)
Only dream I ever have is it the surface of the Sun. Every time I shut my eyes it's always the same.

Hard to choose but my favorites are "Stitch In Time", "Vanishing Act", "I Hear You Calling", "Second Soul" (perhaps the most surprising and uplifting ending),and "The Conversion".
So many others are really quite good. While this is a SciFi series so many episodes pack a lot of emotion into them
