Alternate reality is practically the theme of the show. A good thing about series such as these, is because there is neither a continuous story arc nor a returning protagonist, episodes can always end darkly or with a sense of finality, and we'll have a completely different story and cast the next week. The only thing recurring is that "moral of the story" voice that ends each episode.

If my calculations are correct; Comet TV should be airing this episode on Sept 14 - about a month from now.
If you don't know Comet TV, it airs two episodes twice a day (in my area, anyway) at 3 & 4 PM and the same ones at 9 & 10PM (Stargate SG-1 is on pre- and post- those episodes.
The second episode becomes the first episode the next day.
The Shroud should be the second episode on the 14th and the first on the 15th.
if you're still interested.
