Ace says the odds of a few slot machines parked next to each other hitting the big jackpots are in the billions.
Which means there is still a chance for that happening.
Which I think is how it happened.
They were not rigged and the poor worker did not have any hand in it.
Earlier in the movie Ace talks about how there are cameras everywhere.
So all he had to do was check the video to confirm his suspicions.
And besides, the casino will make up for that payout in no time.
So it was no big deal.

I would like to know how the scam setup took place if he was right. The poor old worker should have pulled the machines after 20 minutes I agree with there.
That poor guy is legendary Joe Bog Briggs who is resembling Rick Dalton a lot.
