Singleton made a much more subtle and effective statement on race culture/issues in "Boyz N The Hood". But this film is filled with caricatures and stereotypes and cartoon villains (the white supremacists are laughably obvious in their 'evil'). It's like a liberal's wet dream.
Singleton unintentionally made a comedy, whether he knows it or not.

Sometimes a person has to focus their resources on making their statement to the world. John Singleton made the screen his pulpit and preached to the people. So be it.
Sadly, you are right. We are far too jaded an audience and population to be swayed by what amounts to a "
      very special episode
" of "Saved By The Bell: The College Years"
I dont need you to tell me how good my coffee is.

I don't think it comes down to being 'jaded', I just think we know excess when we see it. Singleton is a talented filmmaker and he didn't need to go to such extremes. The subtle statement stays with you a lot more than one that's beating you over the head.

Any kind of bullsh *t post in order to stay in denial. All that share your (OP) sentiment are sad, laughable and then sad again. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled is to convince the world that he doesn't exist. Looks like you fell for it and want to blame it on Singleton.
Don't come for me unless I send for you. There is consequence.

i f*in hated this putrid piece of trash, very rarely had a movie made me physically sick watching it (and don't tell me that it was supposed to do that)
            1/10, shame you can't vote a 0/10
so many movies, so little time
