i havent noticed anyone mention this so far so i thought i'd throw it in. Has anyone noticed the scene where casey breaks up with him for spying on her? when she says something like "this is the last look your going to get" and she drops the blinds - she's starkers! freeze frame if u have 2.

I don't think this flash of boobs is so secret, it's easily spotted unless you've gone off to make a coffie or someone distracts you. It's a treat really because I think Drew was at her prettiest in this movie. The short hair looks great on her, she's hot in the promo stills n' dvd cover.
The film is not the best overall though, but worth a watch.

ok, ok. my mistake i had watched this movie a million times as a teen during my drew phase (before dvd's were invented) and i think i actually taped it off tv, so it had probably been edited out! Then when i saw it recently i was like whoa!, i'm onto something here! though it is a 'blink and you'll miss it' kinda thing hang on, was that boobs?! lol

But then again, you are a girl and probably don't look out for such things. But when a guy watches a movie, it's a different story! lol
I'm not a huge Drew fan, because I don't think see has an awful lot of talent. But this ranks with her best, as well as Riding in cars.
Have not seen confessions of a dangerous mind though. Any good?

I'd have to agree as far as talent goes, i'm not a huge fan either. There's just something adorably cute about her especially in her short scruffy blonde hair phase. And i think riding in cars is the only movie of hers (as a lead) that i actually own. Havent seen confessions of a dangerous mind either, always been one i might get around to seeing one day kinda lost interest in her movies as i got older and wiser and they became littered with fluff like perfect catch, never been kissed etc. She really needs to do something gritty instead of these sweet girly roles

Yeah for real, she does have to cut out the crap! Confession's is a break in the trend she should have carried on with. Challenge herself, rather than stick in the same comfort zone of trash comedy.
What sort of role would be ideal for Drew to better herself?
You're right though, she is a cutie pie.

thats a hard one! it would be hard to picture her in something that is depending on her acting to hold the film up and i couldnt see any major directors taking a chance on placing her as a lead in any epic masterpieces. You know, her earlier stuff like posion ivy and gun crazy rings more true to me.. it's like she's a b-movie actress that got lucky and is now swimming in the a list actors pond. Also in her b-movies, her acting seems fresher and like she's actually making an effort to bring something more to it other than a cute smile. Scream for example was great based on her scene alone. if she returned to b movies or maybe just independents, she could probably give them a cult status and become 'cool' again (LOL!). Maybe working with someone like Eli Roth what kinda roles could you believe her in???

Very articulate Ms Tina, you have provoked me into thinking which is something new lol!
Certainly, it's looking slim that a director with integrity, and a film with integrity would select Drew for a lead role. Maybe she could pull some strings at that production company of hers though (Flower Films), If she gives some young director/writer the green light like she did with Donnie Darko, she could bully them into making her the star. Donnie Darko?, there was a decent chance for her to shine in an indie film, a damn fine film as well (if a tad confusing). Her performance in it was adequate, but she was hardly Halle Berry in Monster's Ball or Julia Roberts in Erin Brokavich. Her acting lacks a lot of emotion at times, she's a bit stone faced.
I just saw the one film from her B-movie phase, which was Poison Ivy. But I was in school at the time and do not remember it too much, so I'm not qualified to comment too much on the acting although I do recall the girl from Roseanne being the stronger actress.
This upcoming "Lucky You" does not seem like the normal Hollywood pop. Acting along side Eric Bana might be good for her, He's one of the up and coming guys in Tinsel Town although he's been around for time in his native Australia. Why are Aussies getting more of a chance than English dudes anyway I mean Bana, Crowe, Jackman, Pearce there does not seem to be any cool roles for our guys. Anyway, Bana mixes his roles and refuses to be type cast, a bit like Harrison Ford through out his career.
How about casting Drew as her own Grandmother, in a period piece depicting her family's dynasty shot around the most successful Barrymore years when John senior was known as the "The Profile". It would prove very eventful, as they were all colourful hell raisers who's lives ended in tragedy. Drew has also been likened to her Grandmother Costello many a time.
                  Whatta ya reckon?

Wayne's World is one of those movies that brings back childhood memories! I saw it at the cinema with my parents, brother and mate Craig for my 10th birthday.
To see it now though, you're like this really is not the greatest!.
The Megadeth line is standout material though.
I enjoyed Aviator too! I think there is only you and me who are feeling it!
