Not one minute of this film is remotely believable.
The scene where the little girl jumps over the car seat to dodge a bullet was too much.
The producers of this crap must take the audience for fools. -

The biggie for me is that the husband, virtually all the senior security guys and the lobbyist are all in on the assassination plan and the governor and presumably the FBI, have no idea? I still haven't quite worked out how hubbie was going to gain from having his "bleeding heart liberal" wife bumped off. It might simply mean another BHL is elected/takes office.

The one thing you picked as an example of how unrealistic the movie is totally stupid. A little girl climbing over a seat to avoid being shot makes her a mini John McClane, really? A little girl might not be all that athletically capable, but kids aren't invalids either. They can climb over a damn seat, at least.
