Verlaine was 28, 29 at the time of his affair with Rimbaud, who was 10 years younger.
Leo was 20 when he played Rimbaud in this movie. David Thewlis, who plays Verlaine, was 32. So they were both roughly the same age as the poets they were impersonating.

I only am watching this for ONE very sexy reason, LEONARDO DiCAPRIO (in the 90scuz now he's like 30 ew haha) but yeah, I'm thirteen and I probably will understand this movie! I'm very mature for my age.
