Because it takes place in Mexico and the four white people are the main characters. Even though they could have killed Grady or Burt (but then who woulda starred in the other sequels).

Yeah, considering it takes place in Mexico, and only 3 people are killed the whole movie, it's really not all that surprising. You can't kill Earl because he's the star, Burt was too much of a fan favorite to kill off, and killing off Grady or the lady (her name escapes me right now) would have been pretty dark.

the movie is placed in mexico. In part 3 and the series whites and blacks are killed. In the first film an asian was eaten alive.
