My favorite quote is near the end of the film, when Burt says something close to:
"You know, Grady. People think I'm over-prepared, paranoid, maybe even a little crazy. But they've never dealt with a precambrien life form" -

This isn't really a favorite quote, but it I thought it was funny
After they realize the shriekers hunt by heat which explained why they attacked the cars and radio towers
GradyYou mean they've been acting so smart 'cause they're so stupid?
BTW, my favorite line in Tremors 2 is the scene where Earl and Grady see Pedro has stopped his car in the distance.
Grady He stopped! Earl (repeating) He stopped! (The two men are confused) Grady Maybe he's takin' a leak?(Dissolve to later in the scene, nothing has changed) Earl That's a long leak.
And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love you make. -

We all know Burt has the best lines, he rocks.
My favorite quotes from the movie are.
One that someone mentioned before:- 'Doing what I can with what I've got'. I have used that one myself on occasion also.
- When Burt's showing them all the stuff in his truck and Earl says the bit about overkill, and Burt replies 'when you need it and don't have it, you sing a different tune'.
My favorite quote in the whole movie though would have to be from Earl, when Kate asked who named the graboids. 'A guy named Walter Chang, he named them..then they ate him'..haha, love it.

I have a few faves from the first two (I've seen them the most) but my favorite part, isn't a quote. It's before the graboid gives 'birth' to the Shriekers, and Grady runs up to it and slaps it. It's my favorite part. but favorite quotes? Let me think
Tremors:
Rhonda: They only respond to vibration, right? Couldn't we distract them somehow?
Val: Yeah, something to keep 'em busy, like a like a decoy!
Earl: Hey Melvin! Wanna make a buck?
Melvin: Ah, eat it!
Earl: We gotta run. We've got a schedule to keep.
Val: Yeah. See, we plan ahead, that way we don't do anything right now. Earl explained it to me.
Tremors 2:
Grady: You mean they've been acting so smart because they're so stupid?
Earl: Must be sick.
Grady: Probably ate someone that didn't agree with it.
Earl: You know, you might come in useful. While they are eating you it will give me a chance to get away.
Earl: Oh man, this stuff tastes like toilet paper.
Grady: Earl, that is the toilet paper.
Earl: Rock rips through paper!
Grady: Burt are you sure you don't have any more bullets? Did you check all your pockets?
Burt: You know, as I lie here, I can't help but notice the reason I am out of nine millimeter rounds is that I was not properly briefed. And the reason for that is that this mission was not properly researched. If certain people had bothered to gather intelligence on the creatures before bumbling into the situation
Earl: Burt, knock it off!
Burt: e wouldn't be down here with single-shot big bores when we should be packing full auto, preferably belt-fedshut up!
Earl: That ain't no Graboid, it's something more dangerous. -

The part where Burt keeps saying to Kate, Earl and Grady, "It's gonna be big!" He says it like 3 or 4 times and Grady goes "Is it gonna be today?!" I laugh every time.
Ferngully 2 ist das greatest film ever made! -

WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU SO DUMB?
Oh I had a good laugh when I heard that because 1. That's what I was thinking at the time and, 2. I have met too many people in my life that I wanted to ask that very same question to. -

I loved the scene in the third movie where they're getting ready to escape from Burt's bunker so Burt shows them the secret escape tunnel and Chang goes "Burt, I like you" and Burt responds "You should!" I don't know why but I love the nonchalant, semi-serious way that Michael Gross delivers his lines.
I also really enjoy some of Desert Jack's "zen" lines in the third movie, especially the one where he has these scared tourists on a rock waiting out a fake graboid attack. Some woman asks "How long do you think it'll be?" and Jack says "Well ma'am, time is the eternal river. I suggest we not swim upstream," and all the tourists get this "WTF?" look on their faces; I laughed so hard at that.
Then there's the part in the second movie where Burt's showing off the truckload of TNT and elephant bombs, and Earl points to a few artillery shells and says something like "Hey Burt, what're those?" and Burt quickly covers them up and says "Those, uh, are just something that might end up in my collection."
Plus I love the part where they watch the Shrieker give birth for the first time and all the characters are standing around real serious, and the lady points out how they reproduce asexually. Then in the background you hear Grady say "I call the little one," to which Burt replies "Hey, wait a minute, it was my food!"
Can't be too careful with all those weirdos running around. -

All the Tremors movies are on Syfy today.
Anything by Burt is usually noteworthy, but one in particular from the 3rd movie always tickles me, likely because I tend to agree with it. It happens about halfway through "Back to Perfection", after Burt agrees to capture a Graboid for the G-men:
G-Man: "We kinda want to know what we should do."
Burt: "You do what you do best, take something simple and complicate it."
That line always cracks me up, and no one on this topic has quoted it yet.
