What was the plot twist to Saw? I saw (no pun intended) but I don't remember any plot twist.

I liked this one a lot. Empire Strikes Back, Oldboy, The Sixth Sense had great twists.
The thing about this twist, it still leaves questions open. What exactly was real? Did most of it take place and Kint was just making other things up as he went along? -

The Usual Suspects for it's climactic, masterfully edited twist.
I also like the Prestige for it's twists and turns throughout.

In my opinion, The Prestige would have had the best twist if it didn't spoil it beforehand
with all of those duplicate hats, then we knew what the machine actually did and could predict the ending. The ending was a surprise nonetheless, but I think it would have been better without showing how the 'trick' worked. -

Of all the movies listed in this thread, the only ones that pulled the rug from beneath me are The Sixth Sense, Oldboy, The Usual Suspects, and The Crying Game. I did figure out The Usual Suspects' twist 10 minutes before it happened but I feel ashamed that it took me so long to catch it

I figured out the Sixth Sense's twist in the middle of the film, but it was still an awesome movie. For me the moment you realize what is really happening in a movie with a good twist is always enjoyable whether you figure it out or if you have it explained to you at the end.
And how in the world did you figure out the Usual Suspects' Twist 10 minutes in? -

They said 10 minutes before it happened so I take that to mean 10 minutes before the movie showed the twist.
Sixth sense was the best twist for me. I'm pretty good at picking up on twjsts in movies, but I never saw that one coming. The first time I saw this movie I missed a lot of it from the veginning. But as I was watching I said watch him be the killer, and I bet he can walk too. I'll definitely have to check out some of the other movies people have picked! -

I figured out the twist 10 minutes in! It was among the most predictable things I have ever seen in my life which made the hyped up ending that much worse. How did I do it?
some things in the movie that made it super obvious.- He was a cripple, making him into the bad guy is like thinking sushi was made in germany. That's why it's exactly what you should do.
- He survived the whole thing and was left to tell about it, sure makes sense they need someone to tell the story right.
- He didn't know any of the guys from the lineup yet he joined them on a job and even went as far as convincing Keaton into joining (according to his story).
- The damn lighter!
- He spoke of himself as the Devil and used lines only someone who would've thought about it could've.
- The most revealing of them all and something you had to think about after it happened. Keaton smiled when Verbal walked up to him and on top of that he mentioned small hints throughout all of their short conversation. Those hints were so obvious most people (those shocked apparently) totally dismissed.

Yes, well I'd put it like this. I used the almighty power of guessing based of something I saw. You still with me? That was "10" minutes in. Pretty much as soon as we got to see Kevin Spacey (Keyzer Sze), even the name makes you think for god's sake. So all I did was keep that one guess throughout the whole movie; being convinced more and more from the things I listed. So yeah I did know who it was which pretty much ruined the ending for me, and upon speaking to my friend (that recommended I see it) he even told me he figured it out early and that the ending wasn't going to blow me away. Let's be frank, it wasn't much of a shocker at all and knowing there to be a twist makes it that much easier to actually spot it from miles away.
All I did was reply to a comment asking: how?, and all the hints were in the movie, and obvious. -

Your explanation above does seem more plausible, but that was not what your previous post suggested.
All I did was reply to a comment asking: how?
The poster you replied to asked another person how they were able to figure out the twist 10 minutes in. Only the first point you mentioned could have made you guess "the twist" (I assume you're referring to Verbal being Soze, not the twist that the whole story was made up by Verbal based on info from the bulletin board) within 10 minutes. The other points certainly could have convinced you that your guess was correct, but they couldn't have helped you figure it out in 10 minutes like your post suggested. Yes?
