Too predictable

I am sorry to say this to the fans of the movie, but this is one of the most predictable movies i have ever seen.
It was so obvious from the very beginning to take verbal for the main antagonist. He was the guy who moved his "subordinates" into direction of working with him. He was the one who was always paying a close attention to the group and rarely taking any action in the
group.
And the story that was presented in a visual format to the audience by Verbal was obviously seen as a lie, because he was telling the story to the lieutenant(or whoever he was) in format of a lie. So obviously i wasn't taking the presented story as truthful.
Makes me really wonder how most of the people didn't make this conclusion in the very beginning of the movie but until the end is astonishing. -

Easy to say now instead of twenty years ago.
or the OP is clairvoyant? But seriously, the narrative, and history as to who Keyser Soze was, and as told by Verbal presumably gave the audience that he was this larger than life '
small time
' drug dealer with long flowing hair and a frightening disposition for revenge

Jack Baer
[FBI]: They tell me you got the cripple from New York in there. He mention Keyser Soze?
Dave Kujan
: Who?
Jack Baer
[FBI]: Bear with me here
Dave Kujan
: [Kujan bursts into Rabins office] Whos Keyser Soze?
Verbal
: Ohhh, beep!
In hindsight, I think Verbal (& Kobayashi) had the
trick
down pat. - DominicD

I 100% agree. I've always enjoyed this film, it's still crafty and well made but it definitely is predictable(Yes, 1st Watch, Same Goes For Fight Club and I get crap for that too) It is incredibly overrated on imdb. Top 30 is ridiculous, especially when I see what's behind it but that's all taste. However, predictable is predictable and YES, it is. I have this as 7/10. No way it's better than any Kubrick film or most of Scorsese's catalog. To me, Synger is a one hit wonder talent wise. He's had a great career with Xmen and all that but they're all junk. Just my opinion. I know most differ

Very predictable indeed. Nothing super special about the movie. Great acting though.
Fight Club on the other hand is still very enjoyable to watch even after knowing the twist.
Unique and philosophical movie.

That's true. Especially now a days, in a time when twists in movies are becoming far more common. Everyone is looking for a twist now so it's easy to say, "I knew this!" despite not really spotting any clues.
You are sin.
