              There is enough salt in other natural foods to keep our bodies going. We wouldn't need to go buy salt shakers if they were ever ridiculously priced.

                Without salt water there wouldn't be very much salt in foods naturally. A lot of that salt comes from rains that carry salt from ocean water and from the food chain including ocean life. Sure there'd be some salt in the world, but without the oceans, it would be a problem.
