you are probably the kind of person who knows that dumb and dumber, napoleon dynamite, and Borat are the kind of comedy that makes you laugh because of its stupidity, but you go and see them anyway, knowing you won't like them, and then criticize. Here's a thought, you are not the target audience for this movie! How about that? This movie is meant for people with a sense of humor, so if you don't have one, maybe it's best that your opinion isn't heard.

You are an idiot. Pauly Shore is the WORST actor EVER to exist. I really wanted to jump through the screen and start smashing his head in with a bat. Same for whatever that other washed up loser's name is Stephen Baldwin, whatever. They both were HORRIBLE. What was this horrible acting? Movies started being tolerable in the '80s, so what excuse did these guys have? And for most of you retards, this movie was based on an actual experiment, in case you didn't know that. They completely RUINED it and had ALL the facts wrong. PLEASE do NOT tell me "it's just a movie." It is not JUST a movie, it's a horrible piece of turd. No, I'm sorry that's complimenting this crap. I would rather shove my head into a pile of Camel diarrhea and suck it all into my stomach, puke it out, and eat that puke than ever see Pauly Shore and that other crackpot in my life. I hope they're dead. AND DID YOU NOT SEE THE AWARD THIS MOVIE WON - WORST ACTOR - PAULY SHORE AHAHA loser.

Wow, since your comment is very immature, I would have to think YOU would like the movie.
I would have to say that comparing this to the mainstream movies that are out today, this is a great, funny film.

I loved this motion picture more than life itself, maybe i loved it to much because after seeing it the eighth time i tried drinking an entire bottle of brake fluid but that just made me throw up, Pauly shore set my world alight to such an extent that it actually burnt down my house (well i was charged but got off it after i explained that the blaze was Pauly's fault).
This is surely Kubrick's best work (even better than Leonard part six) and i'm shocked that that he didn't win an Oscar for it. The music, oh man the music, its good, its damn good, shame there was no Kylie in the soundtrack but Safety Dance makes up for it.
In Summary if you don't like this motion picture then maybe you should look at the person in the mirror, and kill them. -

I agree this underrated film is a rare gem. Not only is it a riotous self-satire, but it is also a pithy environmental commentary with a fairly strong and steady moral. My sense is that people are divided along ideological lines: if you are Republican, Libertarian, and/or think Global Warming is exaggerated, you will not like the film.
Where I obviously disagree with you is on the negatives. And all 4 of my children loved this movie growing up. Today they are all professionals, so please don't try to bash.
The story line is based on real events too, you may be interested. Look up "Biosphere 2".
