They caught the train!
But seriously, what a messed up ending! Why they didnt just end it at the docks with Caan getting arrested and everyone surviving is beyond me. The tag ending w the Van and Limo are just extraneous and turn John from a protector to a straight up murderer. -

They attempt to justify it by showing James Caan and his cohorts saying they still intend to kill Vanessa Williams (and anyone who could threaten them) in order to eliminate her testimony. However, yes, trapping them all on the railroad tracks is clearly vigilante justice. Caan being shot (perhaps by Williams) for trying to kill Schwarzeneggar when he was lifting the rubble off of Caan might've been a better way to handle it.

Are you kidding me?
DeGuerin was total scum. He killed an innocent woman who he swore to protect and that poor agent. He was also complicit in killing that reporter friend of Lee Cullen's and other witnesses and nearly killed Kruger and Lee too. Plus, he sold Kruger out and shot him after the man threw down his guns. And not only that, if DeGuerin and his cronies had actually managed to sell the rail guns to the Russians, those weapons would've killed thousands of innocent people.
Yet you cry a river when these four scumbags are killed. I won't. As far as I'm concerned, it's a great ending and they got what they deserved.
