Not understanding tthe firt scene of the film, help

In the first scene of the film, I did not understand the reason to take the body 1 of 4 Mafia members to the river, the other 2 were in the garden as if they had killed , and the first that Arnold pulled by the neck on the roof, what is the reason ?
I would not have to have left the two in the garden to simulate the fighting between them and have taken the other two , not just one ? as they were in 4
