I would wager that this case would be extremely prolific so I am not sure there is a chance for leniency. Especially since the crime involved the kidnapping and murder of his own wife.

My sarcastic answer would be to force him to watch a constant loop of either Intolerable Cruelty or No Country For Old Men5 to 10 years (or days?) should do it.
As for Fargo, it's a masterpiececlose to 10 out of 10.
