Cutthroat island wasnt that bad though. I finally watched it after avoiding it due to all the bad reviews. It is not as bad as people were saying.

I think it's pretty bad. I want to like it just because of Gena Davis but I watched it a year ago and left a note for myself to never watch it again.

Sorry you hated it. I didnt. I like adventure films. Cutthroat Island is probably one of the only pirate movies I actually mildly entertained.

I didn't hate it - but I regretted the time spent watching it. I think I'll stick to the old 1940s/50s Pirate moves I watched as a kid in future.

It get ridiculous after Charlie has to save her daughter and stop the terrorist act. Its so far fetched. There is noway a skinny bitch like Charlie had the strength to do what she did.

This is right around the time action movies started to take a nosedive in popularity, which is probably why it tanked, but yes, this is an awesome movie. It's simply fantastic. The entertainment value is through the roof.
