    Watching this film back now, QT would've got the balance between cheesey and cliche perfect The elements are there And no, it's not just Samuel L Jackson being in the film Still great fun however.

      The action would have not been so grand and well executed if tarantino had directed and the script was so well written it didnt need tarantino.

          Oh good lord no - then during the water wheel torture scene we would've had to endure David Morse telling his compatriot a long, detailed, pointless history of the water wheel.
