Decent movie, but some things I don't understand…

Why would the chick have been taking any photos or film footage of the secret hospital in the first place? Unless she was planning on doing something with that information from the start, in which case she is an idiot for effing with any of it anyway. Like the military is going to let a hooker come in and document their secret medical "stuff" and just walk away.
The guy in the film she did take also obviously saw her filming and stopped her so why wouldn't he just bash in the camera and destroy the film right then and there?
Again, I enjoyed the movie for the most part but these things don't really make much sense to me.

Movies frequently have unbelievable plot elements. I think this is just one example.
At first, I thought she was the one making the film but later when Hoover's is watching it, we see her looking at the camera and then peeking over the top of her sunglasses at which point the film burns up. That means that someone else (Jimmy Fields? the General?) had to have been running the camera. But if that was the case, then Jimmy wouldn't have been on the base and the General would certainly have never been making a film in the first place.
It also made no sense that she was thrown out of a plane somewhere over suburban Los Angeles where her body was certain to be found. If the plane had just flown deeper into the desert instead, they could have tossed her out and her body would never have been found.
But without unrealistic plot elements, there would be no movie at all. -

Jimmy Fields made all the movies. However, she and Jimmy Fields visited the hospital and knew what had taken place. They may not have known what they were stumbling upon, when they went into the Hospital, but once she saw it, it did not matter that it was on film, she was a witness.
The Army Colonel was looking to shut her up, and Jimmy Fields and get that film. -

Sorry if this is off the wall but I thought they dumped her out there so that she would land somewhere close to where the nuke was to be detonated (or was detonated) so that her remains would be vaporized. She couldn't be too close though to any work areas but close enough to make her disappear. Then she got accidently 'discovered' which sent things into panic mode.
Did they say who found her? I can't remember now.
