I watched this movie on Lifetime Movie Network and afterward, tried to find the name of the song and lyrics of same when Julie and Steve Carson were dancing.
Can anyone help me?

Do you mean "Penny Burgess?" She and Steve hooked up and got married after Julie left town. Steve was on the rebound and never really loved Penny even though he was married to her for over 20 years. They also left town after they got married. At least this is the way it is in the movie.
