It's definitely one of the best. What actually makes it top 2 IMHO is the score. Hans Zimmer made this movie truly and beyond epic. I find Matrix to be better in many aspects, but for me these two movies are the best action movies ever made.

I think that although it is a very entertaining action, the best I think not. There are more iconic movies in this genre. Terminator, and Die Hard are just a few. Don't get me wrong though. I love The Rock

Definitely one of them, Die Hard, Point Break, T2, Hardboiled, The Raid 1+2, numerous jackie Chan and Jet Li movies, but on pure grin inducing re-watchable stylized fun I gotta
go with Con Air!
