Really enjoy this movie, the last great action film of the Hollywood action era. However I was watching this on Netflix for the first time in years last night. I'm a little confused as to the logic behind the actions of Candyman Tony Todd's team. General destroys one of the two rockets. The second rocket kills Todd. So did the other guy, Major Frye, not notice the rocket was gone when he was perusing Goodspeed for the chip? By this time, really needed to prioritize getting off the island.

The question occurred to me too. I think a possible reason is the 12(?) rockets in the morgue were all perfectly intact, besides for their missing microchips. It's possible Frye was thinking he could just set up another one if he got the chip off Goodspeed. Considering how complicated the movie claims disarming the rockets is, it is unlikely he would have been able to put one back together, but it's not implausible that he was hoping to attempt it.

I posted a video review of this the other day, and I started thinking that maybe Frye wanted the chip for sale on the black market. By that time in the movie the train of thought should be getting off the island after all.
