From the very beginning it felt like his dramatic and exuberant scenes except without that artistic feel and more just absolutely stupid.

No, Shakespeare was the Tarantino of his day (but more emotional range).

Omg. Are you so misinformed to not know Terentino is the biggest hack in history? All his best scenes are frame for frame copied from scenes he studied in film school. And i am a fan of his. Pulp fiction is one of my favorite movies. I love his style but i know his history. Btw he is a beep actor and he ruins his own movies just by speaking. I think Jessica Alba is a better actor than him. I know he is trying to do an "Alfred Hichcock", but serious screen time should be reserved for actual skilled actors.

So then Shakespeare really was the Tarantino of his day.
            Let's be bad guys.

I think that the overlong opening scene was more reminiscent of David Zucker and Jim Abrahams.
I half-expected Leslie Nielsen to pop up as the police chief.

that's what's so funny about people who don't watch enough movies but still want to sound intelligent about it: every movie with a "cool" style in it's editing or directing is a "tarantino" movie. it's almost as bad as saying that a violent movie is a "tarantino style" movie.
