lykeafallenangel-1, you should see The Wings of the Dove. Alison is really great in that movie as well. Her character is so very different from this movie, but I loved her in that (TWotD) and I know gonbaoji liked her in that as well.

Oh, dear..why'd you have to go and say thatyou'll make the fic trolls come out of hiding.
98% of fanfiction is garbage. I do
not
want to read slash about Joe and Nahum, or slash about Shelby and Percy. I don't want to read someone's convoluted shipping of Eli and Percy. I don't want to read a fic full of grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.
A few short drabbles that delve deeper into the state of mind of the characters,
maybe
An Eli-centered fic that relates how and when he returned to Vietnamhow the axe-in-the-stump sign originatedwhy Eli allowed Percy into his world after so many years of isolation
A Percy-centered fic that related her time in prison and why she really chose Gilead, since I didn't buy her story she told Gar' about the Indian legends saying it was a beautiful place. (Though I don't doubt it's a beautiful place).
But like I say98% is utter rubbish. A scant 2% is readable. An even smaller percent is brilliant and
worthy
of being read.
Yeah, I know how I sound. Just call me a certified fic snob. 'Cause I am, and freely and proudly admit it.
So, it's probably a
good
thing we haven't found any Spitfire Grill fics.
Although, if inspiration strikes, I may just write one myself -
