When the film was shown at the Sundance Film Festival, it had another composer whose score they rejected and hiered James Horner.
I tried a google.com search and all I could find is that it was some "unknown" composer.

Your information is partly correct. There was an original score that was recorded, but never used in any way. The score by James Horner was commisioned prior to any exposure of the finished film, and it was the only score, other than the temp track, that was ever screened for anyone. The version that played at Sundance featured the Horner score.

Well, a board member at moviemusic.com said they knew who it was, but couldn't recall.
Are you sure? Just want to make sure.
