Which was a ****ty way to end it. Ubbe was supposed to die more or less the way Ivar did, and a throwaway character named Guthrum who showed up maybe twice was supposed to get the ending Hvitserk did.

Does it show them interacting with the native peoples? My understanding is that relations eventually turned hostile and violent, and the Vikings up and departed.

Yes I think Floki had pissed the natives off and they wanted to kill him but Ubbe managed to calm the situation and they all lived in peace. The End.

He was my favourite of the sons. A lot of people stopped watching after Ragnar died but Ubbe was like his double and Bjorn was cool as well. One of my favourite ever series.
