..is that each character is indispensible, in VERY different ways. I love all five of them for different reasons, and can't really choose one that I like more than the otherwell, by a significant margin:
I love how carefree, decadent, and deadpan Jack could be.
I love how nerdy Maya wasit was played for comedy expertly!
I love how "suave" Elliott tried to be, but he really was overly emotional and heartfelt.
I love how over-the-top, diva, and goofy Nina could be.
I love how snarky, perverse, and dorky Finch was.
Great cast! -

Mill Creek Entertainment re-released a number of older TV series last year, (or just earlier seasons), and I suspect they will continue doing that in 2015, but that remains to be seen.
One of those was
JUST SHOOT ME
, seasons 1&2 and season 3; that is not so exciting because those were released on DVD sets previously, so what about seasons 4 through 7?
As far as reruns go, check into the over-the-air broadcasts.
That is a hit-and-miss proposition, because most of what I have seen does not air in order, or apparently complete seasons One example is the Tony Danza, Judith Light, Katherine Helmund, Alyssa Milano, (and the little boy) series
WHO'S THE BOSS
. With that particular series, there seems to be some technical basis for having had only the first season of that long running series on DVDs and broadcasts, namely the season 2 and season 3 problems that appear to be "stretched" studio video tapes. Once you see it, you will know exactly what I mean.
If
those tapes are the only 'masters' of that show, investors would likely have been reluctant risking their money in converting those flawed seasons to DVDs, leaving the remaining seasons for later conversion/release. Fortunately, one of the national over-the-air broadcast networks chose to rerun that series, even with those defects. I have seen the defects in multiple episodes of seasons 2 and 3, but not in others, but they could also be affected, and I have not seen all seasons or all the episodes. Antenna TV has that show scheduled at irregular times, and VERY early in the mornings, like 3AM Monday mornings, plus others before Noon on Sunday ranging from one to four episodes.
There is also good news and bad news about broadcast reruns.
GOOD NEWS:
That show (WTB) was broadcast in HD, with black bars on the left and right, preserving the original picture ratio/aspect. HD!!!
BAD NEWS:
It was at least edited for time. Why? When it was originally aired, there were in the range of 4 to 6 minutes of commercials in a one-hour time slot. These days, the one-hour slot shows are lucky if they are 42 minutes, (some only 40 minutes),
giving 18 minutes for commercials!
, shortening a (so-called) 30-minute episode by about six minutes of its original 27 minutes of programming.
IMHO, that is a LOT removed.
Soooo, DVDs (at least, maybe Blu-Ray) would have all the original programming, in theory.
If
some streaming or download version were available, it should also have all of the original material. (Perhaps minus the "scenes from next week's episode") -

I was just mentioning how there is no dead weight on this show. Im also rewatching Spin City and NewsRadio and those shows' casts arn't nearly as strong. And these characters were clever and well defined right from the pilot too. Great show.
