"The tapes. You, you, you ow–, ok. You own the tapes, BUT the MAGIC, that f*cking HEART and SOUL we put into those tapes. That is OURS! You don't own that. Now I need to get that magic to the record company! We were supposed to be there half an hour ago! We look like assholes right now man!" -

Hahaha! You know, I actually originally wrote it as "ka-rah-tay," but then changed it because I couldn't remember if he actually used that pronunciation in that moment.
But you know, Dirk
does
know ka-rah-tay. His
karate
is laughably bad and sloppy, and has obviously never had a single lesson in it, but his
ka-rah-tay
moves are fantastic.

You know, he is a creative man of many interests: film, poetry, ka-rah-tay, music and dance. He is a man of passion and mystery. He is a man of lust. -

LoL! Also, you have to love that scene thats apart of Amber's documentary about Dirk, where Reed pronounces "Karate" as its supposed to be pronounced, but quickly backtracks and says "Ka-rah-tay" saying Dirk would kill him for that, and even asks if that part could be edited out of the documentary even.

Do you think we are supposed to believe that is Reed on lead guitar?
I mean, was he talented enough to play lead or just rhythm of which he was kinda sloppy at in that clip of them writing a song?
Maybe Reed is better at guitar than what we saw.

OK I just re-watched the song writing clip which is posted earlier and above and John Riley/Reed is better than I thought.
Could that actually be him playing lead on "Touch?"
