Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Donnie Brasco

    The Movie Lady — 6 years ago(December 21, 2019 01:56 AM)

This is one of Johnny Depp's greatest movies of all-time. He does his portrayal as Joe Pistone pretty good. I also found him good in From Hell (Cockney accent was so perfect), Don Juan DeMarco and even that one where he sees two girls enjoying themselves with a teddy bear!
Goddamnit, man! You done made me hurt my dick hand. (Phone Booth, 2002)

He's never been better in my opinion. Since then his career has been patchy and mostly uninspiring.

I've seen all his movies, too. I'm glad you like this one.

He said hi to me on Twitter, but I didn't get a screenshot because he deleted the account. I was pretty sure I knew it was him.
Sometimes, I wonder if celebrities ever see people online, like maybe they checked their IMDb board when the message boards were still running. He might know about the popular posters there who posted there before me.

Agreed. This is an excellent film. Both Depp and Al Pacino are spot-on in their roles.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
